InStil Design Bathroom featured on Houzz
Houzz features this beautiful Main En-suite Bathroom designed by InStil Design recently in their ” Born on Houzz ” feature. Although we are primarily operating throughout Oxfordshire and surrounding areas, this was a little different for us as the clients were based in Leamington Spa who found us through the Houzz UK website. A Kitchen Case Study
After completing the design and supply of two bathrooms for our customer, they approached us with a request to make some changes to their small farmhouse kitchen. However, as we started the project, it turned out to be much bigger than expected. We spent several months creating a new layout, which included extending the kitchen into the garden, adding oak beams, and crittall doors, and changing the roof layout.
The client then hired a local architect to supervise the building process. When the space was ready, we returned to supply and fit a shaker-style kitchen in a dark olive green colour, complete with black handles and a black Quooker tap. The old cream AGA was refurbished into an electrical one and painted in an anthracite shade.
For the appliances, we chose 90 cm wide Smeg black appliances with copper components, including a hob with both induction and gas options. We used two different worktop materials: a beautiful marble-effect quartz for the larger-than-average island and a durable porcelain worktop for the hob and sink run, the same material was used as splash backs.
The end result was a stunning kitchen that we are proud of.
Our 10 Year Anniversary Party!
On Thursday 12th October we celebrated our 10 year anniversary. We would like to thank everyone for coming along over the course of the weekend to offer their support and help celebrate with us at our boutique kitchen and bathroom showroom near Oxford. It was a great opportunity to also show off our new displays including our new Kitchen design products and new bathroom suppliers from Gessi, Armera, Minoli tiles, Alice Ceramics & Zuma Well Being Lighting. We hope to post more news here over the coming weeks months and hopefully years!!!

Grand Designs: House of the Year
Our client’s house, the Pheasants, was featured on last night’s (7th November) Grand Designs: House of the Year! The first time Martina visited the owners was over 8 years ago in their brown wood cladded bungalow on the same plot. Fantastic news!

Now they are up for the RIBA national ‘House of the Year’ competition, the results of which will be screened on TV by the Grand Designs people in November.
