Martina Landhed, Founder & Creative Director

I’m Martina Landhed, multi-award-winning designer and Founder & Creative Director of InStil Design, an independent bathroom and kitchen design studio with a boutique-style showroom in Oxford. Originally from Sweden, I have been living outside Sweden since 1996 and have been based in the UK for many years. InStil Design was established in 2012, driven by my passion for exceptional design and beautifully crafted products. While we began as a specialist bathroom studio, our work has naturally evolved in response to client demand, and today we design a wide range of spaces.

My Scandinavian heritage strongly influences my design approach, with a focus on clean lines, simplicity, and functional beauty. I believe great design should feel both timeless and personal, creating spaces that are elegant yet perfectly suited to how our clients live. Over the years, several of our projects have received National Design Awards, recognising our creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional quality and value.

Steven Strady, Senior Designer

Rooted from the south of France his designs are influenced by the warmth of European style and focus on mixing textures and contrast to create tailored designs. He has studied Fine Art and French Upholstery design in France and received a degree in Interior Design in the UK.

He is passionate in revealing his clients’ true personality in their design, whilst guiding them towards appropriate decisions that fit their need as well as their budget.

Mieke Zwart, Designer

Nicole Smith-Dawson, Accounts & Office Manager

With a career history in the New Build and Property sector, Nicole joined InStil Design in 2020 and oversees all areas of our accounts, invoicing, and office management. This includes liaising with our clients, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure the smooth running of the office and showroom.

Mark Evetts, CAD Technician/Designer

Although formerly trained in Furniture design Mark enjoys a career of over 10 years in Interior Design specifically in the hospitality industry of Bars, Cafes & Restaurants.

Experienced in creating full fit out drawing packages, surveying and presentation drawings in Auto CAD Mark brings his detailing ability for in-depth projects to InStil Design
